Lindt&Sprüngli USA was founded in Stratham, New Hampshire, in 1987. Production began in 1989, and, by 2019, it had already celebrated its 30th anni- versary. The subsidiary is shaped by steady growth and innovative power, and is now the largest production com- pany in North America. In as early as 1998, Lindt & Sprüngli took over the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, one of the oldest and most traditional chocolate manufacturers in the US. In 2014, the company finally acquired the traditional Russell Stover brand, the largest in its history. Highlights Lindt Campus at “One Fine Chocolate Place” in Stratham The Lindt retail story had already begun back in 1995 in the US. Today, the two prestigious flagship stores on 5th Avenue and 34th Street serve as the most important show pieces for Swiss premium chocolate in the heart of NewYork. Since 2018, Lindt has been an official sponsor of the Emmy Awards. Lindt delighted at the most important television awards show in the US stars with chocolate creations in the Lindor Chocolate Lounge.
